Roy Rodgers is currently the President of the Harrow Art Society. Harrow Art Society is the oldest surviving art society in the area. It was founded in 1934 to promote interest in the arts in Harrow (North London) and held its first exhibition in December 1935.
Membership is open to artists from all disciplines in visual art, and costs just £25 a year.

Oil Painting Classes with Roy Rodgers
This course will cover all aspects of oil painting including landscape, still life.
Total beginners to oils and those who already have skills in the medium, this is the course for you !

Roy Rodgers is the Author of "Starting in Oils". First published in August 1988 by Swallow Books as part of their "Art Class" series. Senior Editor, Ken Howard OBE R. A.
It is a comprehensive introduction to the technique of oil painting. Basic equipment and materials are discussed and techniques such as glazing, scumbling and knife-painting are explained with step by step illustrations. Each section is completed by a project in which the reader can develop their own ideas.

Cheryl's long standing and well established classes for life drawing have been attended by students of all levels of ability since 1990. Students range from beginners to practiced artists who love to study and draw the figure from life each week, learning about line, form, composition and anatomy.
